Fall Fashion Finds Under $100

The first day of autumn has finally arrived! This means pumpkin spice candles, haunted hay rides, scary movies, and apple picking will all be on my agenda in the coming weeks. Aside from that, there’s my 22nd birthday (yikes!) for which I’m anxiously waiting! I’m so excited for autumn because it’s the perfect season–it’s neither too hot nor too cold.
Here’s a few of my favorite things for the season, and things that won’t break our poor, college-student budget! Let me know what you love about fall in the comments, I’d love to hear from you guys.

Wednesday Inspiration

Wednesday Inspiration
Since the wee hours of the morning I’ve been humming “Dance” by J.U.S.T.I.C.E in my head and thought I’d share with you guys how much I love it! Not only is pleasing to the ears, but the video is also pleasing to the eyes! This set’s inspiration comes from this song the mixture of melodies is much like the mixtures of prints and the contrast between the warmness of the Topshop shirt and the coolness of the Jennifer Zeuner lariat. So do yourself a favour today, enjoy the music and mix things up a bit!

Throwback Thursday: Remember that time I modelled?

I love throwback Thursdays, they’re a chance for me to show how cute I am/was without feeling like a tool! With that being said, this week I have a picture that I absolutely adore. My friend Sam had a photography project in which she photographed young women inspired by songs off of Janelle Monae’s latest album The Electric Lady. This photo of me was inspired by “Ghetto Woman,” which you can listen to below!

Hard at Work, or Hardly Working?

I truly promise that I’ve been hard at work these past few weeks! Although, the work hasn’t been on the blog but instead on a business venture. I joined my university’s entrepreneurial society and from there pitched a business idea for a competition. Little did I know, I would be taking a trip to London to pitch to a group of judges as well as against about 4 other universities. It was such a great experience, and it has made me even more determined to start my own business!

Here’s a photo from the first pitching competition that I did. (There’s me in the middle!)1779199_252386808268989_982414303_n

Now that life has calmed down relatively, I am now able to post more!
